How to set up IB rewards for a cent account

Configure IB reward payouts for partners whose clients trade on a cent account, without creating a new IB type or reward currency

Go to Platforms > Groups and confirm that the cent trading group already exists for the platform. If it doesn't, create it on the trading platform side first.

In the B2CORE Back Office, go to Products > Product Currencies and open the product currency linked to the cent account.

Set Factory to 100. This value marks the product currency as a cent one.

Go to Platforms > Groups, open the cent group, and set Lot size to 0.01 — matching the platform's 1:100 contract-size ratio for cent accounts.

Apply these steps in order: Platform groupProduct currency (Factory)IB group (Lot size). If the Lot size step is skipped or done before the others, calculated volumes and rewards come out 100x too high.

Reward rate

Once Lot size = 0.01 is set for the group, reuse the existing per-standard-lot reward rate as-is — don't rescale it manually. Lot size already accounts for the 1:100 ratio, so rescaling the rate too would double-count it (e.g. a $2 per-lot rate doesn't need to become $0.02).

Notes

  • No new IB type, reward currency, or separate wallet is required for a cent account — the existing setup and reward plan can be reused.
  • The reward/wallet currency isn't hardcoded to USD — it follows the platform group's Payment currency.
  • A separate "cent" currency (e.g. USC) doesn't need to be created or enabled anywhere — cent-ness is determined only by the product currency's Factory field.
