Rewards distribution modes

Learn how rewards are distributed along the partners chain and which alternative distribution modes are available

When a client executes a trade, rewards are paid to all partners in the chain above this client: the direct partner receives the Level 1 reward, the partner above receives the Level 2 reward, and so on. The rewards distribution mode defines which payment plan and which level settings are used for each partner in the chain.

Availability

The standard mode is used by default. The alternative modes are enabled upon request. To enable one of them, contact the B2BROKER support team.

Standard mode

The whole chain is paid according to the IB type of the Level 1 partner, that is, the direct partner of the trader:

  • the payment plan for the traded symbol is taken from the Level 1 partner's IB type
  • the ratio of each level is taken from the Levels tab of the same IB type
  • the IB types of the partners at higher levels are not taken into account

If the Level 1 partner's IB type has no payment plan for the traded symbol, no rewards are paid for the trade.

Alternative modes

In the alternative modes, each partner in the chain is paid according to their own IB type:

  • the payment plan for the traded symbol is taken from the partner's own IB type
  • the level ratio is taken from the Levels tab of the partner's own IB type

A partner is excluded from the reward distribution for a trade if:

  • the partner has no IB type
  • the partner's IB type has no payment plan for the traded symbol, or the plan doesn't apply to the trade
  • the partner's IB type has no level configured for the partner's position in the chain; for the Max amount payment plan, the plan has no reward amount for this level

The alternative modes differ in how they treat the remaining partners when someone in the chain is excluded.

Compression

The excluded partner is removed from the chain, and the partners above move one level down. The levels are renumbered starting from Level 1 without gaps.

For the Max amount payment plan, the number of levels in the chain is also counted after the excluded partners are removed.

Skip

The excluded partner is skipped, and the remaining partners keep their original levels. No one receives the reward of the excluded partner.

For the Max amount payment plan, the number of levels in the chain is counted including the excluded partners.

Example

Consider a chain of three partners above the trader:

  • Jill is the direct partner of the trader (Level 1)
  • Jack is the partner above Jill (Level 2)
  • Bob is the partner above Jack (Level 3)

Jack's IB type has no payment plan for the traded symbol, while the IB types of Jill and Bob have one.

BobLevel 3, Jill's IB typeLevel 2, Bob's IB typeLevel 3, Bob's IB type

In the standard mode, Jack's IB type doesn't matter: all three partners are paid according to Jill's IB type.

In the compression mode, Bob takes Jack's place and receives the Level 2 reward calculated by his own IB type.

In the skip mode, Bob stays at Level 3 and receives the Level 3 reward calculated by his own IB type.
